I Think this old rendering they did with the original game is the inspiration for the look of the Paragon. What do you think?

If so, and the paragon does have a set of armor that looks like this, I'd want to get Nightfall just for that.

I just had a thought... The paragons are supposed to be elonians... but in the dessert you get the idea that the elonians died out long ago... so how are they going to fit them into the next game's storyline, and arn't they from Tyria? Maybe the rest of the continent East of Ascalon is going to be revieled!

To me, she looks more like an elementalist than a warrior. Not enough armor to be on the frontlines, and her pose seems like she's casting a spell. Maybe this was Cynn's original character model? I like her hair a lot better here than what it looks like in-game, if that's the case

I don't think all of the Elonians died, just the ones who came to the desert to ascend. Maybe that's how they're in the storyline for Nightfall? Not sure, could be they all went to the desert and all died so only their guardians are left.

Looks like an elementalist. From the way she is it looks how Cynn looked in the movie when she brought down the meteors, same position.

It's an early pre-game release of an Elementist. It's not supposed to be anyone. And as for the Elonians in the Desert. They say that the Elonians that came to the Desert died, not the country itself. Plus the Elonians came from Elona, and also at Thirsty River the Ghostly Hero said they came from Elona by sea meaning it's not going to be near Tyria

the crystal desert is part of elona, iirc (source; the scholar in the dragon festival event, talking about the darkness and their connection to the tomb of the primevil kings). elona, obviousely, is right nextdoor to tyria.

The Armor may not look like front lines armor, but then neither did war 15k glad armor. Besides they said the Paragon will be more of a ranged fighter throwing spears and not a front line fighter.

Thats not an early render of cynn.
I'm not sure if its anyone, I'm pretty sure there is also a render of a warrior with his sword stabbing the ground or something, and the warrior on the box of the first game. Just because its on the website does not mean it has to be someone in the game.

I do agree it looks like an elementalist, though I hope paragons get armor like that. *drool* :]
